Well double play, you have the right to
keep the old landline, you're a senior not a millennial, old habits die hard.
However few younger people actually have a landline.
If it was included in some package deal with internet/ TV/ phone service, I likely wouldn't even go and buy an old fashioned phone, I don't try to be trendy but a landline is so Fred Flintstone !
A landline is just so redundant when you have a smartphone that has unlimited minutes, text, and data, you don't even need a computer anymore !, And it costs $30, that's what I'm posting from a ,$30 phone, I just bought a laptop for black Friday ( is that racist ? ).
DP, I'm older and resist change, it's most frequently for the worse, but you have to adjust to the times.
If I ever got a landline it would be a bit of nostalgia, like a 60's rotary dial thing , or even better the real old contraption where you have a wall mounted unit and pick up a cord to speak into a microphone of sorts !
How old are you anyway Double Play ?
